Here in late August, we are entering a transitional period for many prospects. Many are being promoted, others are returning from the Olympics, while some pitchers are even being shut down for the season. Many players on this week's rankings such as Greg Halman, Angel Salome, Ivan De Jesus, Chris Valaika and Lou Marson have been chosen for Arizona Fall League rosters. These transitions as well as the players production are having their effect on the top 25 non-top 100 rankings.
Remember to check back in 2 weeks for the updated Top-25 non industry top-100!
No. | Player | Pos. | Comments | Age | Org | Lvl | Pre.

2 | Michael Saunders | CF | Just returning from Beijing with team Canada, expect Saunders to produce well in AAA in 09' | 21.8 | SEA | AAA | 2 ↔
3 | Carlos Santana | C | Destroyed A+ this year, (.413, .420
wOBA); Santanta's potential rivals any player on this list |

8 | Daryl Jones | LF | Game has taken off in AA (.391 wOBA, .228 isoP, 17.9 BB%, 17.9 K%), start getting excited | 21.1 | STL | AA | 8 ↔
9 | Wilmer Flores | SS | Struggling in August (.320 wOBA); still, as a 17-year-old he is doing incredible things in Appy | 17.0 | NYM | R | 4 ↓
10 | Derek Holland | LHP | Fast riser has been tremendous lately (4.4 BB%, 32.5 K% in A+; 5.6 BB%, 31.0 K% in AA) | 21.8 | TEX | AA | 27 ↑

13 | Zach McAllister | RHP | After mowing through Low-A (2.95 FIP, 72.7 DF), been very solid in A+ (3.26 FIP, 68.1 DF) | 20.7 | NYY | A+ | 18 ↑
14 | Lou Marson | C | After a long hiatus in Beijing, Marson returns to producing in AA. Good bet to start '09 in Philly | 22.1 | PHI | AA | 12 ↓

18 | Kila Kaaihue | 1B | Monster season continues (1.091 OPS); interesting thing is 2B-to-HR ratio (13 2B, 35 HR) | 24.4 | KC | AAA | 23 ↑
