Key Information

* We are going to release a Top 200 prospect list over the next 50 days
* Our rankings are based on three quantifiable measurements: amateur value, progression score, and production score
* For pitchers we use K%, BB%, FIP, and TBF when we evaluate production
* For hitters we use wOBA, IsoP, BB%, K%, and my speed score for production
* When it comes to players without much pro experience, we rely on our own pre-draft amateur evaluations, draft position, and initial pro assignments

Notable

* We're going to conduct a series of original quantitative studies on prospects entering this year
* Scouting will become a bigger part of the site over the next couple of years
* We use a similar approach in evaluating prospects and players under the age of 25
* Our approach is different for our under 30 lists
