Nick graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a B.A. in History after being an associate sports editor of the Duke Chronicle, where he covered many sporting events, including Duke Men's Basketball, multiple NCAA Women's Final Fours, Women's U.S. Opens, and ACC Football. Now 24, he still resides in Durham, NC and is currently applying for law school.

Nick's an undersized right-hander at 5-foot-10, and while he graduated Duke at a robust 185-pounds, less weights and more yoga have him down to a leaner, meaner 170. Sadly, he's just a two-tool player (speed and fielding; only an average arm), i.e. good field, no hit.
